Root Canal Therapy
Root canal therapy (endodontic treatment) is a procedure used to remove inflamed or infected tissue from the inside of your tooth. The tooth is filled, sealed and restored with a crown for protection.
This procedure is the absolute best way to save a dying tooth that would otherwise need to be extracted.
Some signs that you may need root canal therapy:
- Serious tooth pain when using the area
- Sensitivity to hot and cold
- Pimple-like bump on the gums near the pained area
- Darkening of the tooth
- Tenderness or swelling of the gums near the pained area
